Engage clients can provide their advocates with a elected official and candidate lookup modules and lookup plugins to learn more about the people who represent them. These pages can be customized by the client to add endorsements, commentary, notes, and scorecards.
To begin customizing official and candidate page visit the Officials, Custom Recipients and Candidates Search page of the admin located under the “People” navigation item.
Use the “Create Search” button to search for a group of officials or candidates or use the “Quick Search” tool to search for a specific individual.
After you search your results will be returned in a table. Click the detail button highlighted in the image below to reveal the detail panel. From the panel you will be able to see basic information about the official or candidate and quickly add an endorsement, public facing commentary, and administrative tags that can be used for creating search groups. Click the “Click here for full bio” for more information, reporting, and customization options.
The top of the administrative bio page will resemble the detail panel with the same information and customization options.
Just below this information you will find information about how your advocates have interacted with the individual. You can toggle this view to get a snapshot of the number of actions targeted this official in the last 7, 30, 60, 90, and 365 days as well as what types of actions they were (write, call, or tweet).
You can also see how many advocates in your database are represented by the official and what percentage of those have contacted him or her.
Below the reporting you will find any additional biographical, contact, and committee information associated with the official followed by a field to add a custom note to the public facing bio page and a preview of their scorecard.
